Yesterday, actor John Chiang attended TVB's Sales Presentation at TVB
City. John, who recently returned to TVB after leaving HKTV, was highly
respected and was arranged to "warm up" the sales presentation stage.
When the show started, they grandly introduced that Film King John
Chiang would be returning to TVB to film dramas. John laughed: "I
haven't been back for so long, I really anticipate cooperating with 3
time TV King, Wayne Lai." John started the show off and introduced all
the "big" mainstream productions, and even promoted that the programmes
were heavily invested to film in different countries and used many
different effects in production. He expressed that his contract with
HKTV had ended for more than half a year already. After resting, he has
now signed a two year per-series contract with TVB. He will not attend
any of HKTV's upcoming drama promotions. Speaking of being valued by
TVB, he responded that he is very honoured.
John Chiang
expressed that he is very happy to be able to cooperate with his
son-in-law, Raymond Cho, in "Eunuch Five Tigers", which will be his
first drama back. As for what reason moved him to return to TVB? John
said: "It's Catherine Tsang who contacted me." Asked if he will attend
HKTV's opening ceremony on the 19th this month, he revealed that he will
not: "I already left HKTV for half a year, they also know I have signed
with TVB already."
