Queenie Chu (朱慧敏) attended the Children Charity Foundation (童夢慈善基金會．慈善教育資助項目啟動禮2016) at Kowloon Bay while Heidi Chu (朱凱婷) represented Wai Yin Association (慧妍雅集) to show their supports. As the ambassador for the second year, Queenie expressed their focus was to render support to low income families: "Some students managed to quality in the university but had insufficient money to pay for their school fees."

Thinking of filming drama in Mainland China

When mentioned about Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) leaving TVB in May and setting up her work studio but hoping to continue working with TVB, Queenie said: "The relationship with TVB is not bad and 12 years pass quickly. I wish to film drama in Mainland China and mini movie too. (Has less jobs when in TVB?) It is very hard to say."

Maintained contact with Charmaine through WhatsApp

In fact, TVB helped Queenie to accept many jobs but it depended on her schedule. When asked if she will follow Charmaine to set up work studio, Queenie replied nope and said: "I worked with her several times and we keep in contact through WhatsApp but less meeting up." She congratulated Charmaine as well.
