Grace accepted an interview from ON.CC (東網) earlier and expressed she migrated to New York when 4 years old and her parent were doing shoushan stone business. But after becoming first runner-up in Ms Hong Kong pageant, she got rid of rich man's daughter identity and stayed in Hong Kong to develop her career. Initially, she could not afford to pay the rental as her Ms Hong Kong contract consisted of less than $10,000 salary: "I have to sleep in the street." Finally, her 9 years of effort paid off as her role, Fa Man was well-received by the audiences and ON.CC (東網) reported her fans' supports and encouragements increased as well.
Five days ago on social networking website, Grace shared photo of herself holding Oriental Daily Newspapers (東方日報) and left a message: "I am shocked when reading the newspapers today as I do not expect my role will appear in C1 column. Thank you for the supports to Fa Man and the report from Oriental Daily (東方日報)."
