When asked if there was third party leading to the break up with Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢), Benjamin said: "We have explained that it has nothing related to any female colleagues and not telling the details. (Involve outsiders?) Many things need honesty. Sometimes, I might be forgetful, hot tempered and clueless at explaining so it leads to misunderstanding and lack of security. Please give me a chance after this lesson and I will learn how to handle a relationship."
