According to Apple Daily website, the series, which is to pair up Bobby Au-yeung and Joey Meng as the lead stars for the first time, had to change plans when the actor had to withdraw due to scheduling conflicts.
Producer Nelson Cheung stated, "Bobby was supposed to play the lead in the series that should begin filming on 15 November. But he decided to withdraw because the date clashed with another mainland series that he accepted earlier."
Nelson also revealed that in order to avoid affecting the production's progress, the screen time for the 20-episode drama has been changed so that Johnson, who was cast in a supporting role alongside Mak Ling Ling and Harriet Yeung initially, will be playing the lead instead.
Meanwhile, Oscar Leung will also be joining the series as the second male lead, while other cast members remain the same.
When asked about Bobby's withdrawal, actress Joey Meng stated, "Though it is a pity that we can't work together, there's nothing one can do when it involves scheduling conflicts. But I believe there will be other opportunities for us to collaborate!"
