According to Oriental Daily, the actress, who attended a public event on Tseung Kwan O on 19 January, laughed at the mention of her new dubbed title, "little rich woman", saying, "I don't think I am qualified to be called that, but it's true that my parents have taught me to save money since I was just a little girl."
Admitting that she is saving money for a better future, Eliza added that she also dreamed about buying a house for her parents' convenience whenever they come to Hong Kong to visit her.
"I do want to buy one, but I have to take it slowly and do more research," said the actress, adding that she has not saved enough money for the down payment yet.
Meanwhile, the actress enthused that she will be passing out red envelopes for the first time this coming Lunar New Year.
"A lot of staff members, peers and reporters really supported me over the year, and I want to show my gratitude to them," said the actress, who won Most Improved Actress award at the TVB Anniversary Awards late last year.
