It was understood TVB is doing their second round recruitment of former artists to "rescue" them. This time TVB executive Virgina Lok personally does the leg work! An insider disclosed Miss Lok is working hard to get the 'Gambling King' Stanley Ho's daughter Josie Ho to participate in new series Tomorrow Another War co-starring Lawrence Ng. The series is a grand production, temporarily set to be this year's anniversary series and it is the first series in the history of Hong Kong television that will have full support from the HK Correctional Services. This means, TVB will have the opportunity step out of their studios and go into the actual prisons to get a realistic set. Because this series is about real life cases of Hong Kong's most wanted criminals, Josie was very interested to be part of it, portraying a correctional officer.
A member from the filming crew disclosed, "Last year for the Sales Presentation, we had Lawrence, Kate Tsui and Jade Leung. Actually Jade was not confirmed, there could be a change any time and replacing her with a secret weapon! Josie Ho was just confirmed to join the cast, but we are not sure of the other cast. I just know the cast could change."
Also, Nicholas Tse's sister Jennifer Tse has never been in a TV series before, she will also be making her debut as the female lead in a new lawyer series scheduled to start shooting mid year. To accommodate the new blood, TVB intends to cast Siu Sangs Raymond Lam or Kevin Cheng in hope to target the younger audience. Alex Fong Lik Sun is confirmed to be in a new series with Liza Wang and Damian Lau as well.
Josie was in Mainland for a promotional event, when asked about her TVB comeback, she did not deny. She just expressed it was inconvenient for her to comment. It has been 10 years since Alex been in a TVB series, he was extremely happy to be back. He joked: "The fans waited so long their necks are long. At last, I can finally speak Cantonese to film a series. I'm very excited, but I wonder if I can get accustomed?"
