It has been a long time since Michael Tong (唐文龍) appeared and he attended the Wing Chun seminar given by Master, William Kong (江志強). He disclosed that he used to learn Hung Kuen but started to learn Wing Chun since 2007. Michael believed that the learning of martial arts process was to increase his analytical thinking and patience, and said: "I learn martial arts is not to become a fighter and convince people by this way.".

Michael revealed he had been filming in Mainland China for 7 to 8 years and hoped to have some achievements upon returning to Hong Kong this time. When asked about the reasons for not staying in Mainland China and if the market was bigger or better salary, Michael said: "I am still a Hong Kong citizen and hope to do something here. Recently, many artistes suffered injuries and this included Christine Fan (范瑋琪) and Hong Kong artiste, Natalie Tong (唐詩詠). However, she clarified through Weibo that it was not an accident and wrote: "Please do not worry and this is not caused by accident. I am learning motorcycle for two days and I am too clumsy.". In fact, this is the result after learning motorcycle and the netizens left their messages to root for her and a speedy recovery after seeing her determination.

Karena Ng (吳千語) became the spokeperson for wedding gown advertisement and filmed together with Clement Tien (田學維) (who took part in Mr Hong Kong contest) in Shek O (石澳). When asked about her dream lover in her heart, Karena said: "He must be mature, realistic and loves himself. (When you plan to get married?) I hope to give birth before the age of 30. The wedding ceremony can be simple yet grand as well. I can share my happiness with my family and friends.".

Karena added that she will be focusing on her career now and had accepted 3 movie deals for the next 6 months. She hoped to try different roles and increase her acting skills.

Nancy Wu and her entrepreneur fiancé, Patt Shum, reportedly have plans to tie the knot in the beginning of 2015. The couple started cohabiting within one year of dating and shares a loving relationship. Although Patt allegedly strayed in the relationship, he regained Nancy’s trust through a marriage proposal in August 2013, in which she has happily accepted.

After Nancy completes TVB series, Trade Wars, she will reportedly take a half-year hiatus in order to prepare for her wedding. It will likely take place in early 2015, but if possible, the couple will hold the special event earlier in December this year. A source close to Nancy spilled, “She applied for a half-year break last month. At first, she was reluctant in sharing the reason, but she couldn’t hold back from smiling when asked whether she is getting married.”

Refuses to Admit to Wedding Plans

Last Sunday, Nancy was spotted in Cyberport filming for Trade Wars. Although she was in a bright and cheerful mood, Nancy refused to confirm her wedding plans when reporters sent their congratulations. Instead, she asked, “Why are you congratulating me?”

The attacks became more frequent soon after her break up with ex-boyfriend Mark Ryan. Appearing more rounded in I Love Hong Kong 2013, Joyce was said to have abandoned her diet and exercise routine. Later, she was speculated to have been dropped from her slimming institute endorsement deal after ballooning up to 180 pounds.

According to the latest report, Joyce is apparently getting close to reaching 200 pounds. Seen filming Wilson Chin‘s latest project Hot Madam last month, Joyce certainly looks heavier but she has also remained agile. While going through a boot-camp style training for the film, she easily climbed up a forty-feet rope ladder and performed a split without breaking a sweat.

Despite all the harsh attacks, Joyce is confident in her abilities and does not let the comments affect her mood. She works hard to re-direct the attention to her talents while emphasizing that people should not be judged solely by their weight. “I feel that weight should not be something that permanently seals someone’s fate. I have never given up on myself. I have actually received many job offers since signing to a new company this year. I am very happy.”

Although she feels comfortable in her skin, Joyce still understands the importance of staying healthy and is committed to keeping her body in good condition. “My boss has made me promise to get an annual check-up. I have done so and I am healthy and normal. I promised everyone I will continue to exercise, but I will stop being so anxious over my body shape and the numbers on the scale.”

Fala Chen is on the wrong side of luck. While filming for Ronald Cheng’s latest directorial project Mysterious Treasure in Guangdong’s Hailing Island last month, Fala aggravated an old neck injury and was immediately sent back to Hong Kong for treatment. A few days ago, Fala was seen returning to the hospital for a routine check-up.

Portraying a pirate in the film, it was reported that nearly 70 percent of Fala’s screen time in the movie were fight scenes. Fala started her martial arts training several months before principal photography for Mysterious Treasure began, but having to film in temperatures over 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day for ten hours straight took a toll on Fala’s health, and fatigue eventually caught up with her.

Last month, Fala injured her neck while shooting an action scene in Hailing Island, Yangjiang. According to an insider, Fala lost control of her whip and strained her neck. Suddenly feeling a pressing pain at the back of her neck and numbness in her limbs, Fala immediately canceled her shooting schedule and returned to Hong Kong for a medical checkup. After receiving an MRI test, her physician discovered that she had two slipped discs in her neck, which caused the numbness in her arms and legs. Fala stayed at the hospital overnight for additional treatment.

The following day, Fala was released from the hospital and attended a grand opening ceremony for a jewelry shop. She admitted that she had suffered a neck injury and was receiving physical therapy.

“She refused to get a stunt double,” a source close to the set of Mysterious Treasure said. “She had many difficult action scenes and the director even advised her to get a stunt double, but she said she could handle it. The production company did buy insurance, but she got herself really injured, and that’s still troubling.”

Recently, Artiste Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) is busy with filming of new series, Heaven's Sight (天眼) and disclosed that the filming process had been running smoothly. However, the rainy weather affected the filming schedule at times. Kevin also disclosed that they had not started on the filming for most dangerous action scenes which included gun shot and saving casualties in car accident scenes. He added that he was mentally prepared upon receiving the script.

Singer Ella Koon (官恩娜) accepted a radio station interview and discussed about the most daring stuff that she had done in her life. Ella disclosed that she was afraid of doing wrong things and dared not even stepped on the grass in the park. However, she did have a bald head before and said: "I am bored when I am young, so decide to shave my head to bald upon seeing Punk hairstyle is very stylish in England. But I dare not do it now since I am old.".

Ella then reminded the youngsters to go ahead to do something that they like as time flies extremely fast. Thus, we must express ourselves when we are still young.

Artiste Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) attended the fashion show as guest of honour and expressed that she rarely performed catwalk but had the interest though. When asked if she had any talent and interest in drawing, Charmaine said: "I am learning oil painting now and is it considered? I will design shoes if there is an opportunity as I love high heels and have few hundred pairs at home. (You have free time to learn many things despite a hectic schedule?) Charmaine disclosed that she drew a painting of herself and mother as mother's day present, and said: "She takes a look at it and displays in the living room. (How many paintings so far?) Artiste Lee Yee Man (李綺雯) wore a black top and black spectacle to pay respect to the deceased, Mr ex Hong Kong, Wong Tin Chau (王天) and expressed that she got to know him in TVB, and attended religion gathering together before.

When asked if she knew Tin Chau had any illness, Yee Man said: "I know about this for quite some time and assume that he is in good condition recently. Thus, I am very shocked when I hear this. (Look for him recently?) We have a group chat in WhatsApp for religion gathering and usually encourage each other.".

Three of them needed to film gun action scene under the burning hot weather and when asked about the earlier injury on his forehead, Kevin said: "It is due to my carelessness and nothing to do with gun action scene. (Sustain many injuries while filming Yip Man (葉問)?)  I do not pay extra attention and it is an accident. The accident will not happen if I am extra careful.".

When mentioned about the 'war' between two Ah Jie, Sandy Yue (余詠珊) and Catherina Tsang (曾勵珍) reported by (Hao Bao 好報), Kevin said: "This will not happen to me as I do not have the eloquence and will focus on filming series only.".

After displeasure in working with TVB, Sheren Tang ventured out and worked independently. Complaining of filming dramas without a complete script, Sheren’s criticisms last year during the airing of Beauty at War brought to light TVB’s long-time poor practices. Sheren was subsequently not included in the filming of Rosy Business 3 despite winning critical acclaim in the first two installments.

With the station’s declining ratings, TVB has been inviting veteran artistes such as Kent Tong and Anthony Wong to film for upcoming drama, The Hero. However, Sheren refused to comment on the rumors that TVB lacked artistes and had to use their friendship cards to invite veterans back.

On June 21, Sheren volunteered for a community supermarket as a cashier for the day, attracting many onlookers and bringing business into the store. After the filming for the scene ended successfully, Mandy was very happy to share the photo and thanks the dancers, dance instructor and colleagues' perspiration. She said: "Cannot have less EQ. Thank you for the hard efforts!".

 Ella Koon (官恩娜) went to the radio station to promote her new song. Recently, the weather is quite hot and Ella expressed that she was too busy to pop down to the beach and felt that her body figure was not good enough to wear a swimsuit. She said: "I will not wear too sexy as afraid of being ugly. I only wear a swimsuit if the beach is located far away and will wear a bikini top at the very most. Karena revealed that Lam Fung's younger brother Lam Yat Ming's had to call the reporters to address that the photo was from a long time ago. Coffee is suspected of inapprorpriate behaviour in a public area, TVB expressed that they have brought their attention to this. Virginia Lok stated: "We will take action and handle this after taking a look at Coffee Lam's contract and jobs. An artiste's ethics are very important, personal morality is essential. Girls should not be committing such actions in a public area, let alone an artiste? How can one not pay attention to such things? Reveals that the woman is her new assistant

When Moses Chan and Aimee Chan’s son, Aiden Joshua Chan, was born in December 2013, the couple shared only a photo of Aiden’s small hands holding Aimee’s finger. Since then, the TVB artistes have kept their distance from the media to shield their son from the public’s spotlight. Aiden’s face remained as a mystery for many months. Aimee, who originally planned to film a new TVB drama in the latter half of the year, decided to prolong her hiatus so she can take care of Aiden for the rest of the year. As for Hubert, he was very nervous when shooting the MV with female goddess, Kate Tsui, and said: "It is my first time to see her on the first day of filming. I can only watch the same repeated match with my son when I wake up this morning and teach him the country names as well.". Asked about the match he must watch it, Roger expressed he will watch England even if stayed up the whole night and said: "I will wake up to watch it even at 6am in the morning and it will be just nice if I finish work at dawn.". He also disclosed that his wife, Cindy Au (歐倩怡) and he will watch football together when they were dating and said: "We will go to the bar to watch football together when we are dating at that time. Now, we will watch it at home and to recapture the feelings of dating.".

When asked if Cindy Au will act as guest star in the series, Inbound Troubles 2 (老表，你好Hea!), Roger said: "Only her name will appear but she will not appear in the series most likely, as too many artistes are involved.
