Karena Ng had her 21st birthday the day before yesterday. Boyfriend, Raymond Lam spent approximately 60,000 HKD to hold a birthday party for her at a 5 star hotel restaurant, The Krug Room (Another article quotes 100,000 HKD spent). The tables were filled with desserts made to look like Karena's favourite jewelry and high heels, and there was even a huge birthday cake in the theme of "Princess' castle". On top of the cake stood a "Princess Karena", with a pig and a dog by the mini castle.
Earlier, Raymond Lam had exposed that he had put a lot of thought into his girlfriend's 21st birthday. Because she is too smart, he did not know how to create an unforgettable birthday for her. In the end, he found a restaurant in the five star hotel Mandarin Oriental, and booked the whole restaurant for the party. The restaurant's privacy level is very high, the head chef is a French chef and only serves 12 guests. So Raymond secretly contacted a group of Karena's good friends to attend.
Yesterday, Karena uploaded a group photo with Raymond Lam and 10 other friends from the party, and 3 short clips. In the group photo, Raymond Lam held tightly onto Karena's hand, incredibly sweet. Karena BB was also very touched by the "Princess' Castle" cake. Although there was only a "princess" on the centre of the cake with no "Prince Chok" Raymond Lam, but he was still creative and instead, transformed into "Prince Pig" on the cake (Raymond's nickname is L.Pig), protecting Princess Karena with her dog, Oreo.
Karena accepted a phone interview and sweetly expressed: "Celebrating with a group of friends, of course I was very happy." Her birthday wish is for everyone to be happy, world peace, and for her career to have different development and be able to play different roles.
French Chef tailor-made menu
"The Krug Room" is a cooperation between Champagne Krug factory and Oriental Mandarin Hotel, and is known as the world's most private restaurant. The restaurant interior design is like a train car, guests can see the chef cooking their food through the "train window". The restaurant only serves 12 people, and the menu is personally tailored by the French chef. Apparently, the minimum charge is at least $4500 HKD, and this time, Raymond Lam's spent approximately $60,000 HKD for the bill, definitely very costly! (Another article states that the minimum charge is $100,000 HKD, unsure which is correct).
