Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎), Maria Cordero (肥媽), Luk Ho Ming (陸浩明), Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) and others attended an event and promoted TVB program, Good Cheap Eats 3 (食平3D). As the scandal between Johnson Lee (李思捷) and Jacqueline was the hottest topic in town, she was made fun by Maria and Ho Ming on the stage. Maria suddenly asked Jacqueline in the public: "You really have something on with Johnson? A woman went to a man's mother house to have dinner together is not considered girlfriend?" Ho Ming then expressed that he needed to kept a distance so as to avoid misunderstanding.

As such, Jacqueline kept laughing and tried hard to defend herself but disclosed she drunk the soup boiled by Johnson's mother before. She said: "Everyone is laughing at me. (Feel embarrassed?) Nope and I went to his house to have dinner together before. (Johnson's mother did not recognise you?) A group of friends went to his house together and his mother is a good cook. She boiled soup for me to drink too."

When asked if their rumours was true, Jacqueline emphasised they were good friends and praised Johnson was a filial son: "He is amusing and dotes on his mother. He is indeed a good man. (Any chance for development?) No thoughts of this. (Rumoured that Johnson was drunk during the celebration banquet of the series?) No idea as I left early,"
