At around 9am, Yang Mi posted a photo of the couple's engagement rings on Weibo and wrote: "The situation is just like that, you all can congratulate us!" Soon after, Hawick posted on Weibo clarifying the speculations of the couple's engagement, he revealed the truth -- the wedding is on January 8, 2014!

Hawick wrote on Weibo: "'Hold hands until old age', I finally know the beauty of this saying. I can only say the future road, we will go on it together. If you get tired, then lean over and I will carry you as we go. Thank you for being willing to give me your hand! Thank you father and mother for giving me the unlimited trust! Thank you all for the blessings! 2014.01.08 is a special day, we will be holding our wedding...the shrub is finally sprouting and growing up!" Last year on January 8, 2012 Hawick announced his new romance with Yang Mi on Weibo.
