Him Law played Dr. Onion Yeung Pui Chung in The Hippocratic Crush (On Call) last year. Onion was a naive young doctor with no regrets and was protected everywhere. In the sequel, Onion takes a new lease in life, he becomes a doctor who can face life or death and can handle situations maturely. Him Him frankly expressed his character will of course have to grow up and the same should happen to him in real life. After several years of lessons learned, Him gradually adapted to the nature of his work, has a grasp in acting and can break away from the big boy image that will prepare him to be a future a lead actor.

Him Him expressed he's satisfied with how his role Onion developed. "If I had to be the old Onion, then the audience wouldn't see the breakthrough. Actually, I have a lot more implicit scenes in the sequel and it was great challenge to me." In the past, Him Him usually played the big boy roles filled with positive energy and sometimes a little silly. This time, he had scenes involving life or death, and more crying scenes. To Him, its a good practice: "Before crying scenes scared me because I couldn't get one tear drop out, but when I was filming On Call 2, I was crying for a full week. Its a kind of maturity, a type of training."

Earlier the finale was exposed, main characters each came down with some kind of illness, but Onion was lucky to escape from that trend. Him Him expressed this arrangement is actually in attempt to tell the audience that no matter how bad the situation might be, there is a bright side. "In the series, every character had some kind of burden. It was just me who was the happy one, and the message here is even if everyone is unhappy, you can still find some positive energy."

Aside from the character changes, there are also new characters added to the series. One of the most attractive was definitely experienced actor Lawrence Ng. Him Him felt honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with so many seniors. "There were already many seniors in TITS2. If it was a few years back, I would still be really scared, but now I'm feeling very pleased because I can work with so many seniors that rarely appear on TV series."

When interviewing Him Law, he cannot get away from questions relating to his girlfriend Tavia Yeung. Its rare to see the two appear in a series together. Although Him and Tavia aren't a couple in the series nor do they have many scenes, but they are still the center of attention. Him Him frankly expressed he does not mind at all because if this could the series more attention, then its a benefit. Tavia was crowned TV Queen last year and is one of the top TVB FaDans, but Tavia is rather strong career-minded and many people think this gives Him invisible pressure. Him Him expressed he sees it as a driving force in his work. "Ah Yi depended on her own hard work to get the achievement, and it also provides encouragement to me to work even harder. Also, there are less male artists. If I can maintain myself well, I may still be a Siu Sang when I'm 50! So, there is nothing to compare. Haha!"

When a couple is in a relationship, the majority set marriage as their goal. Him Him and Tavia have been together for quite some time and naturally there will be plans for marriage. Him Him expressed marriage is a happy event and hopes to share the good news with everyone. When he does get married in the future, he will announce it. "In the past, I told myself not to marry so early, but now I think as long as my career and finances are stabled and my partner agrees, then I can get married. I won't give myself a time limit, perhaps I'll get married when I'm 40, or maybe next year. I won't limit myself."
