Yesterday Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung, Joel Chan, Yoyo Chen, Cilla Lok and Benjamin Yuen attended Lee Tim Shing's TVB new series
The Beauty of Bureaucracy
blessing ceremony. Tavia disclosed in the series she plays a disciple
of a commoner who did not shave his head. She and Kenneth are a couple
once again, and since its rare for her to be in a Qing dynasty series,
she sees this as a whole new relationship. Because Tavia had worked with
Kenneth multiple times before, they already had the chemistry and
didn't need to spend time to build the chemistry. Asked if they had any
kiss scenes? Tavia said: "We did have one. We're a bickering pair in
this series, and ended up kissing under an unusual environment, but its a
very beautiful one. ('Car shake'?) They have cars in that time period?
We won't be car shaking, more like sedan chair shaking! (Kenneth is
known to like requesting kiss scenes from the producer, did he do the
same this time?) He doesn't dare to, he's just all talk. If I said I
wanted to add more, I guarantee you he won't have the guts. When I kiss
him, he'll be frightened." Also, Tavia had many scenes opposite of Joel
as well, she praised he's in good shape. Joel plays a tragic character
in the series, Kenneth and Susan Tse are his brother and mother
respectively. Asked if he had any scenes where Susan slaps him? Joel
laughed: "Probably not. I'm a filial son in the series."
When
speaking of Joel having afternoon tea with Alan Tam earlier and Alan
named him the "Morning Jog Son", Joel expressed he knew Alan even before
he entered the industry. Sometimes he bumps into Alan during his
morning jogs. Asked if Alan gave him any word of wisdom? Joel smiled:
"We just talk about jogging, kicking ball and share our fun jogging
experiences. I know Alan goes for a jog right before his concerts, so he
can nurture his vocals. He said he jogged 8km in 30 minutes once. (Meet
up for a jog together?) Usually we do that when we play ball together."
