The 35 years old Hong Kong singer Ella Koon(官恩娜) announced through her record company, Warner Music Group that she has married to her 33 years old doctor boyfriend Juan-Domingo Maurellet. The couple dated for more than six years before saying "I do", and first met when at a speed dating event.

Due to the couple's parents wanted to keep the wedding ceremony as low profile as possible, they only invited close family members but didn't invite any of Ella's celebrity friends to the event. Ella expressed gratitude for all the concerns and blessings from the media: "I understand many reporters have been searching for information about my wedding. But to respect the wishes from our parents, we wanted to keep the wedding as low profile as possible. I hope you guys can forgive me."

Ella Koon had the wedding ceremony on February 2nd, 2015 in Hong Kong. In regards to her getting married, she said she's both happy and excited but complained about she was under stress during the planning stage of her wedding. Thankfully, the wedding happened according to plan. She also said she appreciates the support from her loving husband Domingo all these times and will continue her entertainment career in the future.
