TVB actress Selena Li(李詩韻) announced today that she is changing her Chinese stage name from 'Li Sze Wan(李詩韻)' to 'Li Sze Wah(李施嬅)'. It is very common for artistes to change their names because of Feng Shui belief. However, the reason behind Selena's name change was to commemorate the passing of her grandma. The name 'Li Sze Wah(李施嬅)' was her birth name.

On her blog, she wrote, “I have decided to change my name back to 'Li Sze Wah' in 2015. This name was given to me by my dear grandma. When I started my entertainment career, my family decided to change it to 'Li Sze Wan' because it sounded more elegant. But my grandma had been calling me 'Sze Wah' all these times. With her passing away, I am feeling nostalgic for the name 'Sze Wah' because it feels more intimate to me. I hope everyone can call me 'Li Sze Wah' from now on. What do you think of my name?
