In the recent years, Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) was troubled by her health issue and left a depressing message on Weibo. Subsequently, she replied to ON.CC (東網) that her body was alright, relied on less medicines and had confidence to regain her fit body figure in October. Today (16 Sept), Christine appeared to have full energy when attending an opening ceremony and it was obvious she lost some weight, and her face became sharper.

When asked about the rumours relating to TVB terminated her contract and compensated her with money, Christine denied it but declined to reveal details: "I still have contract with TVB and applied 4 months of leave so as to take care of my body. (Compensate with money?) My contract has not expired yet and I wonder why there is news when I am on leave." Asking about her dessert business, Christine responded it was not bad and hoped to create cakes with themes. She added she hoped to make some presents which made people happy when small.
