Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) worked for TVB many years and joined Stephen Shiu's company recently. Hence, she switched from television artiste to movie artiste now. Before the announcement, Myolie admitted the persistence questioning from the media gave her tremendous pressure and received support from her boyfriend, Phil to join Stephen Shiu, Jr.'s (蕭定一) company. Myolie said: "The news reported he invests in nightclub but he works in headhunter company. He has more than 10 years experience and helps me to analyse, but I make the decision myself."

When asked if she will step into movie market, Myolie confessed the company did promise to film movie for her and will be filming series in Mainland China. It was a challenge for her despite having solid foundation and she said: "Speaking Mandarin is a challenge but can strengthen myself too. (Marriage is 1 of the considerations when signing contract?) Definitely at my age now."

Thank you to her boyfriend's support

As Myolie has successful career and love life now, she expressed her gratitude to her boyfriend and said: "Being my boyfriend will have more pressure as there is more rumours as artiste and this is unfair to him. Thank you for his support and we need to face it together. (Will get married in year end?) I sign contract with new company not long ago. (Not year end?) Will inform everybody once it is finalised."
