As reported on Oriental Daily website, previously, the tabloids claimed that TVB has been extra nice to the 53-year-old actor in hopes that he would sign a long-term contract with them.
It was alleged that while "Bounty Lady" was scheduled for 2014 release, TVB moved the series up just several days before the TVB Anniversary Awards' nomination list was announced.
It was also rumoured that the company may be arranging for Dayo to win an award in order to make him stay, seeing that Dayo has yet to win TV King in the course of his career.
However, the actor, who appeared looking haggard at the celebratory dinner for the success of the "Bounty Lady" premiere on 26 November, stated that the rumours are nonsense as a life filled with lots of filming projects are not the kind of life that he prefers.
Annoyed with the rumours surrounding him, Dayo stated, "TVB knows the kind of person I am. I am the type of man who just really needs to sleep more," and added that he has no confidence in winning TV King.
