Nine years after Linda Chung's debut, she finally got the TV Queen title earlier at the TVB Malaysia Stars Award 2013. As the "Malaysia TV Queen", Linda is the hot favorite to become TV Queen at the TVB Anniversary Awards as well, but Linda will maintain a relaxed mood to attend the award ceremony: "I'm feeling very calm now, and I won't feel more confident because I got Malaysia's TV Queen. The two wards are different. I feel I'm very lucky this year to have had Brother's Keeper and Office of Practical Jokes, so the audience can see more of my performances."

Linda frankly expressed she's not desperate to get awards, but she cannot deny an award is a recognition and that's the reason why she made it her goal to become TV Queen within 10 years debuting. She said: "This is my 9th year in the industry, I have a lot of confidence in myself, but if I can't get it this year, then try again next year. Next year I have Tiger Cubs II and The Great Pharmacist, I think I have a pretty good chance." Although Linda is not too anxious about the awards, but she has already thought of her acceptance speech. She said: "If I have the opportunity to get the award, I won't be crying like I did in Malaysia. Its more emotional when you first get TV Queen, last time my mind went blank when I got on stage, but this time I'm mentally prepared. I've already thought of what I'm going to say when I get on stage. You don't always get the chance to be on that stage, I don't want to miss someone who I wanted to thank."

Linda sees her Brother's Keeper co-star Kristal Tin as her greatest competitor. She said: "Ah Tin has a lot of noise this year, she did very well as 'Cheung Kai Ying'." As for TV King, Linda supports 'Cool Mor' Chilam Cheung and Kenneth Ma. "No doubt Cool Mor was the most popular character this year. Everybody is talking about him. I have a little bias when choosing Kenneth, although I've never collaborated with him before, I admire his character. He's a very good artist and a good man."
