Yesterday Leon Lai was invited as a guest for a radio drama broadcast. He shared his creative insights on stage, often directing problems in the entertainment industry. When the MC asked Leon if he would consider developing in a new media, he greatly praised the radio being able to insist on principles of sending out a positive message. He said: "Not like some television station copying Japanese dramas, after copying then don't admit it." Leon hints his criticisms on TVB's earlier incident where Raymond Lam's series The Mysteries of Love was said to have plagiarized Japanese drama Detective Galileo. As a Music King, Leon shuts out TVB without fear, denouncing TVB's plagiarism act directly.

When Leon mentioned many Netizens complained that certain album covers are ugly, he said: "If people don't feel attracted to the album cover, but out of the 10 songs in the album, one is good, then it's not worth it. Perhaps just download it!"

Afterwards, Leon accepted an interview and when speaking of his comment on plagiarism, he said: "That's because you all (reporters) always ask me, but aren't willing to speak the truth. If the media can speak the truth, then will naturally reveal it! (Telling people to download songs?) No, I just feel that if an album is not good, with just one good song, then you can download. If illegal, I cannot help it, this is something that audience decided that they'll get themselves."

Leon's teacher Dai Si Chung passed away, he expressed that he will attend the funeral, but when asked about the guest list, he said: "Don't make this issue of my teacher's death as a piece of news. I am not angry, I tell the people around me, if one day I die, just tell someone to help me push the button and that'll be it. Don't want to bother my friends, so this topic needs to stop."
